About Students Welfare Committee
The Students Welfare Committee of TIPS plays a pivotal role in nurturing a supportive, socially responsible, and inclusive campus environment. The committee actively manages and coordinates the celebration of important days throughout the year, fostering awareness, unity, and a sense of community among students. It also oversees the systematic distribution and participation of students in various activities both within and outside the campus, including walkathons, blood donation camps, seminars, and workshops organized by different institutes as well as by the Government of Tripura. Through these initiatives, students are encouraged to engage in meaningful experiences that contribute to their personal growth and social responsibility. Furthermore, the committee takes significant efforts to involve students in health camps conducted across Tripura, extending services even to many interior and remote areas of the state. By facilitating participation in such outreach programs, the committee not only promotes community service and humanitarian values but also helps students gain practical exposure and a deeper understanding of societal needs. Overall, the Students Welfare Committee of TIPS plays a crucial role in ensuring holistic development by blending academic life with social engagement, leadership opportunities, and community-oriented initiatives.
