Overview

Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences offers a student-focused campus environment with modern infrastructure and academic support facilities. Our facilities are designed to support classroom learning, practical training, student well-being, and professional development.

Campus

The campus combines academic utility with a welcoming environment, featuring open lawns, landscaped gardens, and pedestrian pathways.

Facilities include language labs, Wi-Fi connectivity, stocked libraries with e-journal access, computer centers, modern laboratories, seminar halls, assembly halls, and sports spaces to support holistic learning.

Library

The central library is an integral part of academic life and supports reference learning, research orientation, and independent study.

It includes a large collection of books and study resources across healthcare and allied disciplines, subscriptions to national and international journals, and access to e-journals. The library is automated using the KOHA open-source library management system for efficient services.

Laboratory

Laboratories are equipped to support practical training, demonstrations, and applied learning in healthcare sciences.

Departments are supported with advanced instruments and apparatus for hands-on teaching. Core facilities include biochemistry, histopathology, hematology, and physics laboratories aligned with quality standards. TIPS is ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certified.

Hostel

TIPS hostels are maintained as safe, supervised, and student-friendly residential spaces.

Rooms are spacious, sanitary facilities are maintained, and support staff including wardens and caretakers are available for resident assistance. Security arrangements are monitored round the clock, and students are expected to follow hostel rules and discipline.

Canteen

The canteen offers hygienic and affordable refreshments in a clean and spacious setting.

It serves as a common interaction area where students can relax and engage in informal academic and peer discussions during breaks.

Information Technology

The institute maintains computer labs with updated systems and software required for academic use and training.

Both general and domain-specific software are used to support IT-enabled teaching, practical sessions, and digital learning outcomes.

Transportation

Transportation support is available for students, faculty, and staff through route-based bus services.

Transport facilities are also coordinated for clinical postings and hospital-based classes, helping students commute safely and on schedule.
